POSTVENTION
AVERT is a modular approach to skills training. All too often, organizations focus on training as a compliance to meet specific needs, but the delivery often makes it difficult for the employee to see the connections. Example: WHIMIS connection to First Aid.

With AVERT the focus is on the journey of the participant and as more training is added, the more the AVERT programs connects. This creates a more confident and competent participant as well as achieving successful real world outcomes.
AVERT Stand Alone Courses
BENEFITS OF MODULAR TRAINING
AVERT is delivered in two methods.

-
A single stand-alone program that meets topic-specific needs
-
An integrated training program that is for the site and team-specific outcomes. The integrated programs are available in 16-hours and 40-hours blocks.

INTEGRATED TRAINING

Our 16-hour program focuses on verbal intervention, team response, critical communication and post-incident practices.

The 40-Hour program is our FORCE OPTION program. This course implements the core 16-hour program and builds gross motor actions, flinch response practices and our RESPONSE continuum and Decision-Making cycle.
